RuleThe maximum length of file names is 140 characters.
ExplanationSome environments, like Windows, place restrictions on the maximum path length (folders + name) of files.

Files are placed within a fixed folder structure within the NT and often this is placed within a location other than the ‘root’ of a local system. This may might lead to a situation where the maximum length of the path on the system is exceeded, especially when the name of a file is long.

To prevent this a restriction is place on the maximum length of file names.
Error messageThe maximum length of file names is 140 characters.
